Hello friends.
I hope you’ll forgive a brief interlude this week. Things are falling into place in the non-Substack world which will mean changes for my family (good things!) and I’m taking a moment to reconfigure schedules and tune processes. A few brief notes in lieu of our normal publishing schedule.
First, yesterday an original essay of mine titles “The Haunted: Returning to Deep Heaven” was published in the
brand new and reimagined publication. is using this cooperative journal-and-artistic-review to highlight voices from inside the Soaring Twenties Social Club, thrice weekly. My essay is below, I hope you’ll enjoy it. Subscribe to the Soaring Twenties for more work like this every week. You might even see original fiction from me sometime soon. 👀I’ve really been enjoying hoarding away internet curios for our not-exactly-weekly exchange. I’ll always have something for you whenever the shop is open, but I reserve my choicest finds for my most special of friends. I’m also looking forward to see the links you’ve been carrying around in your pockets and reading lists. The way we fight algorithm takeover is by rediscovering the age-old art of personal curation.
If you enjoy these excursions in metaverse map-making, want to support the work we’re doing here, or both, would you consider supporting Theofuturism with a paid subscription? I don’t often mention it, but it really does make what I’m doing possible.
As always, I’m grateful to each person reading this. Looking forward to what’s next. 😎
